A beautiful and authentic Thai Chakra Mala Medal (เหรียญจักรมาลา), a highly collectible military long service decoration from Thailand. Minted in solid silver, this medal features a beautifully detailed central depiction of a ceremonial Thai elephant under traditional script, framed by an intricate geometric border.The medal is suspended from its original distinctive multi-colored silk moiré ribbon (featuring green, yellow, and blue stripes) with its elegant, classic Thai-style ornate metal pendant.

First instituted in 1882 by King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), the Chakra Mala Medal is a formal military award presented by the King of Thailand to officers and enlisted personnel across the Thai Uniformed Services (Armed Forces, Royal Thai Police, and defense units) who have completed 15 years of continuous, loyal, and honorable service.
